On 19th November we will be holding an awareness evening in Cardiff South Wales for adults and parents of children with Cerebral Palsy. We will be providing information on the operation Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) which is now available in NHS hospitals in the UK and is an effective way of permanently removing spasticity. If you would like more information about SDR the Youtube video link below provides an insight along with pre and post operative videos.

This video has been set up as currently funding for this operation is a postcode lottery, but it does provide a very good view of the impact this surgery can have.
You can also find out more about SDR at www.support4sdr.org
