Moro related anxiety - what can help?

My 6 year old daughter has mild-severe CP and suffers terribly with the startle part of the retained moro reflex. But recently I've found out that it can also mean a person is anxious or fearful in general. Well she is certainly that but I had never put it down to our old adversary the retained moro reflex until now.
So, I'd really like to know if there's anything anyone has successfully done to reduce anxiety and fearfulness that stems from the moro?
