Hi everyone! We wanted to alert you of an interactive music event happening in November in Southwark (London) for children with disabilities and their families.
Dates: Sunday 30 November 2014
Time: 11.45am – 1pm; 2.45pm – 4.00pm
Venues: Henry Wood Hall, Trinity Church Square, London, SE1 4HU
Admission: £6 for adults; £4 for children
Suitable for: Disabled children and their families
“It’s lovely that the children can have so much freedom to express themselves.”
The 75-minute creative:space event is a unique, fun and interactive music concert specifically designed for disabled children and their families. The music will be performed by the exceptionally talented pianist, Derek Paravicini (who is blind and has severe learning difficulties) and one of the UK's innovative jazz bands, Bad Ass Brass.
There will be plenty of space for children (and adults!) to dance along to the music, and percussion instruments will be handed out for part of the event so that all the family can join in the music-making. Alongside the music, exciting colouring activities and crafts activities are provided for all the family to enjoy!
