Hi
myself and my partner are both disabled, and it would be great to talk with other people about good and bad things.
We are both having problems obtaining pip and have waited over a year to be seen, I was turned down out right my partner who has ms was not awarded the mobility component ???
Both looking to appeal and could realy need some help with it.

Hi ande0208,
Welcome to the community. We hope that you find this useful for talking to other people and sharing experiences.
PIP is a bit of a nightmare and a number of people are not qualifying for the benefit or not scoring enough points to qualify for the enhanced rate of the mobility.
Before you can appeal a PIP decision, you must first request a 'Mandatory Reconsideration'. Have you been through this part of the process yet?
Best wishes
Debbie
