Looking for individuals for photography project

Hi

I am doing a project for University about people living with illnesses/disabilities on a day to day basis. I am looking for inspiring people to allow me to photograph self-portrait styled images that represent your illness/disability. 

I myself have had a number of non serious medical conditions and understand the difficulties of everyday routine when faced with a condition.

Hiya i have dispraxia its a mild to moderate learning difficulties. But no physical side to it more memory co ordination but happy to help

Well the doctors say that I have a learning disability as well, but I am not sure on that and asked the question about it. They came back and said all disabled people comes under the learning disability section, still think they were wrong. Oh well.

would you be able to send me a few paragraphs about how dyspraxia affects your day to day life? Anything your willing to contribute will be very appreciated!

Pictures etc. or just your story.

This is for my final project about people living with all different kinds of conditions. I have been meeting and photographing anyone around London that I can notice with some form of impairment. But have only photographed/spoke to people either in wheelchairs or using crutches/sticks so every story/contribution is appreciated.

No I haven't seen this before it's really related to what I'm trying to achieve so thank you!

Although in my photos everyone has some form of device that is used in order to overcome their impairment. (Wheelchair, sticks) etc. 

I am wondering if I need to use people without devices in order to show a completely different range of disabilities, I would love some of your feedback on this?

Yes, absolutely.  It's so important.  And I'd put money on there being more people with a disability who don't use an aid (or at least one that would be obvious to a non-disabled person) than do.

Wonder if Janine finished her course, I did send her my pictures last year, she was willing to talk to me but never heard anything.
Got an Oyster card recently, but have to go to London for the staff to put my disabled rail card onto oyster, tried to do this in December 15, but found no staff there, instead just ticket machines which was a pain.
