Hi. My son has severe dystonic CP and very poor head control. We tried i2i headrest, but due to constant movements it wasn't robust enough and kept breaking so we went for a Chailey rollercoaster, but that keeps breaking too (we have 5 of them on various bits of equipment and they all keep breaking so its him not the headrest. Any one tried anything else. He is an i-gaze user so needs good head positioning.

This is not really my area but if your son has not had a full OT assessment recently, it may be advisable to ask for this. He may find that improvements in his seating or even being in a standing frame part time (if that is possible) would help reduce the constant movement of his head. You may also find the following website and links useful - https://www.canchild.ca/en/canchildresources/enhancingadaptivefunction.asp
I's sure other parents who have had similar experiences will contribute to this discussion and maybe you may get some input from an Occupational Therapist.
