My friend appears not to have any support from a psychologist. He holds in his anger and only displays it to people he thinks he can control. His family are unwilling to share his full diagnosis with his close friends. How else can I learn more about his condition?

Hello Teddyspal,
It's very difficult to advise with very little information to go, however the charity MIND has some useful information for families and friends of people who are experiencing anger problems. http://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/anger/how-can-friends-and-family-help/#.VYfpL1J0zcs This is a good place to start and the whole MIND website has lots of information about mental health and may give you some options to look at to help you support your friend.
Hope this helps
Best wishes
