A parent recently suggested we share information on our special educational needs summer camps on the Scope community noticeboard so here we are:
Our Ofsted registered camps are for 6-12 year olds with mild-moderate special needs such as autism, dyspraxia and down’s syndrome. Our first camp is in Wandsworth (SW18 4DN) from July 27-31 and our second is in Ravenscourt Park (W12 9JA) from Aug 3-7. Both camps involve a variety of calming & dynamic activities such as balloon tennis, biscuit decorating, sensory play and papier mache. Each day is 9.30am – 3.30pm.
All staff are specialists from Blossom House School in Wimbledon and other special needs schools. They are DBS checked, double reference checked, interviewed and have considerable SEN experience. We ensure a minimum adult to child ratio of 1 to 5.
Our camps cost £60/day, discounted to £50/day if 5 days are booked. Childcare vouchers are accepted for our Wandsworth camp. Local authority funding is also available so do ask us about this and we can put you in touch with the right person.
Please visit our website for further information on the camps: http://www.rolemodels.me/sen-summer-camp-2015/
If you'd like to book, please drop me an email at Hugo@rolemodels.me and I can send through an online registration form. Alternatively, do give me a call on 07825 598344 with any questions.
All the best,
