Researchers at the School of Psychology, Cardiff University, are inviting childless disabled people to take part in research exploring parenthood goals.

Time Required: Up to one hour

Payment: £10 Amazon voucher

Who can take part?

Disabled people who identify as heterosexual and are willing to disclose their sexual orientation and disability status in our confidential survey are welcome to take part. You must also be between the ages of 18 and 28 and not have children. Additionally, you must not have a known fertility problem.

What does it involve?

You will complete the study online.

You will be asked to complete direct and indirect measures of attitudes towards disabled parents. You will be asked to categorise pictures of parents with their children and state the extent to which you agree or disagree with different statements about parenting. You will also be asked about your intentions to have children, your sexual orientation and social situation (e.g., whether or not you are living with a partner)
