Does anyone know where I can find a reliable female support worker for a young disabled adult

    this depends on where you live.  In some areas an organisation called Penderels helps with the recruitment of PAs.  Most local authorities hold an approved list of Agencies.   Join the local Carers Association branch and talk to other Carers who employ support workers for local help and feedback.  Otherwise draw up a person specification, job description and advertise.  You want someone who already has a DBS registered on line so put that in the job ad.  Sometimes it is better to have an untrained person who will do exactly what you want rather than a more expensive trained person.  Network.
