It is 6 weeks since I asked for a mandatory reconsideration for my son's pip (I am his appointee)  is it usual to have to wait so long for any response. My son is 21 and suffers from aspergers syndrome. When I received the letter back after face to face interview stating he was no longer entitled to money for either mobility or care, I was totally gobsmacked. The report said things that we hadn't even discussed, I was appalled. Not only has the whole situation caused Aidan to retreat even further into himself, I myself am suffering with great stress too.
