Hi Pat have you tried wrist splints from the chemist or fingerless gloves? Good luck.

Hi Pat,
This time of year as the weather gets colder is always harder on the joints affected, make sure to keep your hands warm and try a gel like Volterol gel but I use a wax bath when my hands are p!aging up!
I dip my hands in and they stay in plastic bags and a towelling mitt for 20 minutes and that helps me.
But as already advised, splints may help -
Hi @sasha - you could ask your GP to refer you to a hand therapist at a hospital. The therapist could teach you exercises and give you aids for your hands.
-
Get your GP to send you to an occupational therapist at the hospital who will make you splints & advise you of the many ways to help yourself. Also they will be able to recommend many aids which could be helpful to you.

Some great ideas here @sasha does this help?Scope
