As I am over 65 I cannot claim pip. I have been refused but have appealed. I was refused on the grounds that I didn't prove I need help. I had bowel cancer when I was 62 and never claimed anything. If I had I would now be OK instead of trying to exist on pension credit

Hi @Strawberry47 welcome to the community and I am sorry to hear you are struggling. How are you going with your appeal? You can get support in the appeal process, your local disability organisation should be able to point you in the right direction for help or you can check our Services Directory for local information services.Scope
