Hi Bridget,
Welcome to the community, it's great to have you here, and I hope we can help - whatever issues you might have.
How old is your step daughter? We have many carers and parents on the community and a special category for cerebral palsy.
When you say that there is no help for your husband - do you been financial? If you need any help with that - we have benefits advisors and we'd also recommend checking what benefits you might be entitled to just incase you're missing out on anything.
Thanks,
Alex
