I can hardly climb the stairs to my flat now, I live above a shop. I have put it on the market but this is clearly going to take months, I cant get in the bath now for a shower . i'm so depressed i dont know what else I can do also I need a wheelchair as I cant walk or hardly stand . Any advice please?

Sorry to hear of you problems, @sallyg.
I suggest that you phone the Scope Helpline for advice - 0808 800 3333. 9am-5pm weekdays. Also Age UK have a helpline.
Are you receiving DLA or PIP?
Are you taking any painkillers?
Have you had a diagnosis for your mobility problems?
You could ask your GP to refer you for physiotherapy.
There are disability aids available. Do you walk with a stick.? Have you got a bath/shower stool?

Hi @SallyG,
How are you? Were you able to get in touch with the helpline?
Hope that you've found some good info and that things are improving.
