Hi all

My brother's step son had a stroke last year and now can only move his eyes. I looked around for software but the only ones I found were really expensive.

So, I bought an eye tracker designed for playing games and wrote some software that will let him look at letters on an on-screen keyboard to type, and then the software speaks the words he wrote.

You can see a video of me operating the software here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfgVqc0kSkw

The eye tracker I wrote it for only costs 160 Euros, and is available here https://tobiigaming.com/eye-tracker-4c/ (I am not affiliated with this company).

My software is free. If people start to use it then I will add new features in the future. It can be downloaded here https://github.com/mrpmorris/iGaze/releases/download/1.0/iGazeInstaller.msi

If the user is struggling with accuracy, press the C key (to calibrate) and have them stare at the small pulsing dot in the top left corner of the screen. After a second or two it will move to the top right, then bottom right, the bottom left.

I hope this helps someone to get their voice back!

Pete
