Hi, my name is Yarmouth23! Advice and support for my sister please

My sister has cerebral palsy and has just turned 50. She also has epilepsy. She lives with her husband who has learning disabilities and is not very supportive. My Dad takes her to medical specialist appointments but a lot of things she does herself and is quite independant. However she is slowly losing her confidence as she has had a fit in the street before and it understandably makes her nervous. She doesn't need a full-time carer but would benefit on someone keeping an eye on her (would it be a befriender or an advocate - not sure?). My Dad has my Mum to look after now as she has dementia and they wont be around for ever (my Dad is 76). Whilst I can keep an eye out for her I have a full-time job so its difficult to do it all the time. An example of a recent event is that she didn't open a letter about a PIP interview (we think she may have blacked out) and therefore lost the letter, missed the interview and has had her benefits stopped. My Dad has spoken to the people but it needs to go through the cancellation process before it starts again!? Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks very much.
