Hello,
I work with the planning department at Transport for London, and we are currently undertaking some research with wheelchair users to understand the value that they place upon improvements to both streets and the transport network.
With this research, we are hoping to be able to demonstrate how much more value is placed upon these improvements by wheelchair users, compared to the rest of the population. Armed with this information, we can demonstrate that the benefits of such improvements are greater than previously thought, strengthening the business cases for future accessibility proposals. We are running this survey as a trial with wheelchair users at first, with a view to expanding the scope of the study to all disabilities if this trial proves successful. If you would like to help us by participating in the survey, please click on the following link: http://survey3.accent-mr.com/F2/3004p.ASPX?urn=opensurveytflAll those that complete the survey will be sent a £5 voucher as a thank you. Please note that your eligibility to complete the survey will depend on recent journeys that you have made in London.Thank you in advance for your time and your assistance - we very much hope that the results of this study will have a very positive outcome for future accessibility proposals. If you know of anyone who would also be willing to participate, please do send them the link to the survey. If you have any difficulties completing the survey, please contact me using the e-mail address below.Kind regards,Chris ChinnockPrincipal Analyst, TfL PlanningChrisChinnock@tfl.gov.ukBrightness
