Hi @Diogenes42,
What kind of information in relation to careers and jobs are you looking for? Is there something we can help with?
Citizens Advice have a range of information available on their website about work-related issues. I hope this helps!Liam -
Hi Liam. I have M.E and have very limited energy. I don't have enough money from self employment and need advice on jobs that I could do. Thanks

Thank you Geoark. I now have an account and have to phone them tomorrow.

Hi @Diogenes42 I would be interested in your overall experience with them, rather than details, as my impression was they are better than the office staff. Unfortunately the impression I got is that their online community is a honey trap for the phone line. Someone posts and quickly one of the staff is asking them to ring or use the chat feature.
The result is very little in the way of advice or ideas on the community. I know the same happens here, where people are encouraged to ring the helpline, but it is usually because to give more specific advice more personal information is needed than should be put on an open forum. The main difference is where possible general advice is offered here.
Anyway, I hope you get the help you need.As an individual I stood alone.

Hi Geoark.
As I suspected, Remploy weren't able to help me. I think they would be good for people who have a decent level of fitness with their disability and are able to get through a working day. I have very limited energy and am quite unreliable from day to day, and as such, no employer would take me on. Overall, Remploy were very understanding and couldn't have been more helpful: they gave me advice on claiming benefits (I don't qualify though) and said to contact them again if my situation improves.
