Shed for wheelchair

My carer has put a cable through.to an outside safety switch where I can charge my wheelchair. This has been temporarily agreed to until house manager is back off holiday. I am using a pop up tent to cover wheelchair.
I need a proper shed shed for it but I can't afford it and not sure it will be allowed and I expect I will need to fight for it.
Local MP, GP and OT and mental health worker will support.
has anyone else been through this experience. And have any helpful information on how to challenge this and how to get funding/grant for help please

Hi @LindsFiguraPiper,
I'm glad your local GP, MP, OT and mental health worker have said they will support you. Have you asked them for any information?
@Debbie_Scope, do you have any ideas?

Hi @LindsFiguraPiper,
First things first, the biggest concern I have after reading your post is the combination of water and electricity. This is could be a fire-risk so please be careful!
You might find this discussion helpful including information about Fire regulations and grants to pay for a shed. https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/29822/problems-with-access#latest
Let us know what the Housing Manager says when they come back from their holiday and we can go from there.
Best wishes
Debbie
