hello everybody and hope you are all well. I head a DPO (Disabled Peoples' Organisation) within the outreach team of a university. Myself and all of our *AccessAbility Ambassadors are classified as having one or more disabilities. We provide peer support mechanisms for prospective and current disabled students. Disability in higher education can include physical disabilities, long term health conditions, mental health difficulties and the dyslexic  and autistic spectrums. Going to university can be scary for many people, and this can be exaggerated if there is a disability involved. You can find more information and a link to STAART on our webpage www.gre.ac./aap. Alternatively, people are welcome to join our social media pages as we are hoping to create a community of disabled learners and we already have a number of international members:

Please feel free to email if you have any questions or suggestions.

thank you for your time
