Hi @kaybus I wouldn't dream of asking how old you are, or making this post about me,  but I am non weight bearing on my right foot after an op and will be like this for some time.  I also had my 64th birthday just before I went into hospital. Any time I was offered help my answer was always I can manage. I am reliant on my husband for almost everything and on friends coming to see me. The only advice I would give us to accept some help when it's.  You might not need it yet, hope not, but to say yes now and again would have made things easier for me.If its specific help there are experienced people here to advise us. :)
