i was recently awarded pip..i was previously on dla indefinatley.my last dla payment was 26th sept..paid for the 4week in arrears..i got letter from pip saying my first payment would be 6th november ..and thats payment from 11th of october..my question is..were is the mony from 26th sept to 10 october...who pays that..do i get that..surley i dont loose 2weeks? x

There is usually a transition payment that bridges the gap between DLA ending and the regular 4 weekly pay cycle that you are put on. Usually says in your decision letter but if not you should ring DWP

ok thanks..no it didnt say in letter just said awarded from 11 october and be in bank (only 4weeks money) on 6th nov...so im 2weeks down from last recieving dla on the 26 sept...maybe it will be in bank on 10th oct..il ring em anyway.thanks.
