There have been a few conversations on here where people have mentioned the difficulty they have getting appointments at the GPs or getting to their surgery. I spotted a service that let's you talk to a doctor via your phone.
For people in London, it's available for free on the NHS. For people elsewhere, it costs £5 a month (and doesn't link up with the NHS).
Obviously it's not going to be suitable for everything - but sounds like a great idea for getting quick and convenient advice and prescriptions.

If I call my GP, and explain I either can't get in or once when I accidentally overdosed (wasn't as bigger deal as I thought at the time. Total accident) or a wound that hasn't healed.... My go has called back. For free. Just waited till they have a convenient time.
