I am a third year product design student at Cardiff Met i am looking to help people that are wheelchair users. For my brief i am tackling a collapsable wheel design for better storage when the wheelchair is not in use as well as for travelling especially to aid transport in smaller vehicals where boot space is limited. This could potentially aid the use of wheelchairs on planes and could save the need to check wheelchair in if the airline doesn’t have a dedicated storage space.
