I have joined as I am my autistic son's carer. He is getting ESA in the support group. He has a face to face next month and is getting very anxious about it. Any advice?
Thank you

Hi @caroleanne, welcome to the community.
Could you please say what is your son most anxious about. Does your son will have an appointment in Job Centre? I would advise you to go with your son and advocate for your son. The job Centre's coaches are not always supportive.

Oh sorry I was not clear in my post. It is a medical assessment. He is worried he will have to go on job seekers. But he cannot leave the house on his own . He rarely comes out of his room at home. I'm worried too as I know it will all be on my shoulders, stress anxiety and melt downs whilst he will be made to do things he cannot cope with but get sanctioned when he can't. Either way he will be living on fresh air and my state pension. I am 66.
