Hi Salmo1970 - it looks as though you are getting standard rate daily living and standard rate mobility PIP, which comes to £77.65 per week, £310.60 per four weeks (not monthly). If you are a single person,in the support group of ESA and getting contribution based ESA topped up by income related ESA, then your ESA should total £125.55 (£73.10 personal allowance, £36.55 support component and £15.90 enhanced disability premium). The contribution based part of this would be £109.65. The severe disability premium is on top of all this, and can be added into your overall ESA calculalation if you satisfy the 3 conditions for it: you must be 'living alone' or treated as living alone; getting either rate of daily living PIP; and no-one gets Carers Allowance or the Carer element of Universal Credit for looking after you. The severe disability premium is not a benefit in itself - it is a way of increasing the amount you need to live on, and it can be included within income related ESA, income based JSA, income support, housing benefit and pension guarantee credit. The benefits calculator above will also explain this issue. Please get back to us if you would like anything explained further, as this can be a bit bewildering!
    Hope this helps.
