That's really interesting and I think the hand illustration does give an able bodied person more of an idea about what paralysis feels like.

i wanted to do that test but can't only stick my ring finger out, my little finger comes with it. how is she keeping her little finger in the fist?
this was an interesting video, thanks. before watching this i did think paralysed people had no sensation in the parts of them they had no control over.
