I've been in pain for 2 years now. Muscles & joints. I've tried various medications without much success but plenty of unpleasant side effects.

Morning @cazcoups welcome to the community,

Do you know why the pain is happening? Have you had a diagnosis?

I've had a few! PMR, Fibromyalgia Osteoarthritis. Waiting for steroid injections into both shoulders due to bursitis & tendonitis.

Oh that sounds really difficult! Do you see a pain specialist?

    Hello cazcoups and welcome

So sorry you are having such pain
It can be very hard to diagnose no specific joint and muscle pain, until recently fibro was not recognised and in some cases still isn't

Steroid injections into your shoulders should help temporarily but is no long term fix ( I Know )

I can only say that you need to work with your GP to get your meds right most of all be honest with them, try keeping a diary of how, when, where, you have problems and any other side effects that you notice.

My own case took some 10 years to reach a tolerable level

I wish you well and please do come back with any Q's or help we can give

Be all you can be, make  every day count. Namaste
