Terrible arthritis pain

Hi thanks for letting me join this group,is there anyone that can help me,I have undeable pain in my left shoulder an arm,iv been told that it's wear an tear of the joint,arthritis,I'm taking pain killers but it's not even touching it,my arm is so weak an swollen,iv had injections,nothing has worked.

    Hello Chezer.
    Sorry to hear you are suffering with such pain.  Have you been referred by your G.P. for an X-ray or MRI Scan to determine exactly what your condition is?  
    Could your G.P. refer you for physiotherapy?  Maybe your G.P. can prescribe you a medication that would be more effective for you?

    If had physio so many times,but it still come back,I'm on codine pain killers,iv had X-rays,some days I can't lift a mug of tea,doctor suggested physio again,but iv told him it won't work,I will suggest MIR scan next time I see him few weeks time,thank you for you help cheryl :):)

    Yes I have had chronic pain since 2005.

    Physio has always made things much worse for me!!!

    Have you been seen in a “Pain Clinic “ ?????

    Please please let me know if I can help/support you in anyway ??????

    Thanks,I have physio next week on my foot,I will mention my arm an see what is said,an take it from there,but I can't see it working on my arm as its not in the past,iv not thought about pain clinic as I don't know where they are.

    Please mention the Pain Clinic to your GP if you can.

    You should find Pain Clinics in your main Hospitals.

    Please let me know how next week goes with your physio if you don’t mind ??
