Can you work whilst living in a group home?

Can our 27 boy, with Asberges and Dispraxia have a part time job (10 hrs),  while living in a group home?.

Ideally support staff in group homes should be encouraging and supporting disabled people living there to fulfil their aspirations. So if there isn't a direct contradiction between the person's assessed care needs/plan and their employment I can't see that living in a group home should pose a barrier to working.

I think the real question is what impact will working have on the person's benefits. You could use the benefit calculator to try to get an indication of this:
