Researchers at Brunel University London are conducting a study to find out why support walkers are prescribed to children with disabilities, what the perceived benefits of using support walkers are, and what are the issues with using support walkers. We would you to complete a national survey about the use of support walkers for children with disabilities. The results of this survey will help to improve our knowledge of the use of support walkers for children with disabilities and inform future research and guideline development in the area. Further information about this study can be found in the information sheet on the first page of the survey. The survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and all information collected from the survey will remain anonymous. There are three versions of the survey:
If you are a health professional who prescribes or monitors the use of support walkers to children with disabilities please complete the survey found at the following link:
If you are a health or education professional or carer who works with children who use support walkers please complete the survey found at the following link:
If you are a parent or guardian whose child uses a support walker please complete the survey found at the following link:
This study has received ethical approval from the College of Health and Life Sciences Research Ethics Committee.
