I'm single parent to a 12 yr old been diagnosed with Tourette's and anxiety . Tried to apply for dla but told can't get it . What help can I get please ???

When you say you were told you couldn't get the benefit, do you mean that you have already applied and were turned down, or you didn't apply at all? If you haven't already, I would advise applying regardless, and if you weren't awarded what you expected to be, you can appeal the decision. Do let us know where you're at so we can hopefully advise you further! -

Curious. I tried the PIP self test but the questions are a bit ambiguous and sometimes I should have selected 2 options and others none because I was in-between 2. Are these the actual questions you get asked? If so it is going to be difficult remembering which options are applicable, as it was I had to guess.
I scored 19 points and 14 points but that could vary depending on how the questions are put.
Bet anything you like that when they finally get around to it I won't score even close to that.
