Hi to you all
My son is 34 years old with Cerebral Palsy and Seizure Disorder Spastic Diplegia
Nic is on lots of medications and it would be great to talk with others that have issues with.....
Drooling
and Bad Breath I wish there was a cure its consent and I have tried all the mouthwashes and toothpastes nothing works I use bibs on him its constent I just need some advice

Thanks for your reply Nic is on a huge amount of meds on a daily basics all his meds go via his Peg Tube apart from the PRN Emergency meds when he has prolonged seizures. My son has no mobility and depends on me for all his daily needs.
This list of his medication
Eplim 400mg twice day
Tegotol 600mg twice day
Vimpat 400mg twice day
Zonsismide 75mg twice a day
Kappa 25mg twice a day
Omeprazole 100mg twice a day
Desrepresin 30mg once day
Donperdrom 30mls twice day
Lactose 15mls twice a day
Suppositories 1 every 3 days
Aspirin 75mg once daily
Plus PRN meds – Buccal Midazolam 10mg in 1ml for Tonic Clonic seizures lasting more than 5 minutes.

If you haven't already, you may like to check out Scope's information on drooling and bad breath in CP. It may also be worth speaking to a medical professional involved in your son's care as there may be specialist services that could help with this. Do keep us updated! -
The GP has suggested Scopoderm patches but Nic came up in a rash with those I don't want him having further surgery unless its life depending I hope you know what I mean!!! I can put up with the drool PippaScope thanks you for your suggestions
