Hello @lourenrob, and welcome to the community.
Sadly, I don't have a direct answer to your question - there's no way of knowing for sure what any party will do (and I'm assuming you're referring to the Labour party here) until they are in power. I am deeply saddened to read of your situation and am still wondering what on Earth has become of the country i was born into.
It might help to get in touch with one of Scope's benefits advisors https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/ask-a-benefits-advisor
and I am sure other members will be along to offer you advice in due course.
    Warmest best wishes to you,
    Richard

    Hi @lourenrob, and welcome!

As Richard says, there's no way of knowing what a party do or don't intend to you. However, you may like to check out this guidance on mortgages for disabled people on Scope's website.

It's noticeable that the Labour leadership haven't spoken out against the transfer of mortgage interest benefit payments to loans.  Though a pensioner would not have to pay back the loan until the property was sold.
