Help us make the rail network more accessible
Mott MacDonald are working with the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) to develop guidance to support improved accessibility on the GB rail network.
As part of this research we would like to accompany disabled passengers on a short rail journey in central London. You will be asked to make a return train journey from a central London location. An experienced researcher will accompany you on your journey and afterwards ask some questions and discuss your experience of travelling by rail. The journeys will take place in February or March 2018 and will take no more than 2.5 hours of your time.
In order to take part, you will need to be able to make the train journey without support from our researchers. You will be asked to bring any assistance (e.g. another person, technology or other assistive devices) which you would normally use when making train journeys with you.
Mott MacDonald will pay for your transport costs and will offer a £50 incentive as a ‘thank you’ for your participation.
If you are interested in hearing more about this or would like to take part, please contact Giulia Scarani at Giulia.Scarani@mottmac.com (020 7248 2698) or Zoe Cooper at Zoe.Cooper@mottmac.com or 020 8774 2708.
