Help with esa

I was told my sick pay at work had run out and to claim esa which I did this week work have not contacted me to tell me thawed has been a mistake and that I am not allowed ssp1 as my wage is going to be paid at half until August so is Cole’s the esa back and asked them to cancel my claim they said that they cannot and that they will have someone call me does any one have any advice don’t want to claim cause I know my half wage is more than stat sick pay or esa and also asked that they removed my partner from the claim also they have refused what is going on pls any insight would be welcome

    You can ring ESA and cancel the claim. Im unsure why you've been told you can't cancel it. Ring again Monday morning to cancel it. You can't claim ESA without the SSP1 form so your claim will not be successful.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    Thank you not sure why they have to call me back you think they would be glad someone cancelling claim
