Want to hear disabled people's experience of getting married - the good, the bad the indifferent?

Hi all! This is my very first post - so i am not sure if I am posting in the right place. I would love to hear your experiences of wedding planning here in the UK. I'm a diversity advocate and used to work as a disability and mental health caregiver. I now work in the wedding industry (I know!) as a diversity consultant and writer and have discovered we have some real challenges with being physically and attitudinally more accessible in media and the industry to better include wedding couples where one or both parties (or guests) have an unseen or physical disability.
Genuinely just want to hear people's experience of getting married - the good, the bad the indifferent?

Belated thank you so much @PippaScope - I'm going to do a keyword search on your twitter now. I've been having some really truly insightful conversations about this and its something not talked about enough.

And so it should be Wow 35 years! What an inspiration. I know it was a whole ago - but can you remember inspired / excluded by the wedding industry during your planning?
