hi everyone. since i lost my ESA i have been on job seekers. i am struggling to get a job and feel it would be better due to my disability to work from home. i need to be able to move around regularly due to my spina bifida and arthritis i also have to make regular trips to the toilet as i have incontinence problems. i also have hydrochephalus which also makes it hard to work as i regularly loose concentration and my co-ordination is poor. can anyone give me any advice. there seem to be lots of work from home scams out there.

I also have the same problem as I am limited in the kind of work, due to disability and how my age affects it. In essence, I need a sit down job. I also do not have the money to retrain.

You are right to be careful about scams but quite a few of our online community team work from home so there are jobs out there!

Support to Work offers advice to disabled people applying for jobs. This employment support can be online, by telephone, Skype or text. It’s open to disabled people who:

• are looking for paid work
• have access to a telephone, email and the internet
• and live in England or Wales

Hi @deb74 & @Geniedebs , it can be a minefield looking for reputable 'work from home' opportunities online, although they do actually exist. As a rule of thumb, you should NEVER part with any money if asked by any of these firms online - for DBS checks, admin fees or ANYTHING. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. At Scope's Support to Work we have supported people working from home.

You could always refer yourself to our service for the best advice, guidance and information to support you into the employment you are looking for..

Hi I am raxa have been working in nursery for 10 years level 2 and level 3 childcare qualification, i am full time carer for my son has autisum his back from residental place in july since then i had to give up my job,  please advise if there is anything can work from home thank you
