Just pondering
DLA was introduced in 1992 and twenty years later everyone is having to change to something new.

My indefinite award for both care and mobility was/ is worthless as just been moved to PIP.
Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going.

The unfortunate part is that the frudsters who claimed DLA are now so stressed and depressed that they may lose their golden goose, that they now have  "legitimate " claims

Exactly! Too many people pretend they have illness. The DLA was abused.
But now its gone too much the other way.
I think your award should be solely on your scans and x rays.
There are several people i know who ask me "get me a blue badge" so i ask what hospital are you at.  They arnt. So i ask are you disabled thsy ALWAYS pull a face and say il not a cripple.
That face and commemt tels you what these creeps are.
So if your not at a hospital and you think being disabled is simething to look down on. DONT fill in forms to claim money for being disabled. Its YOUR fault that disabled people are having a tough time.
And Lord Stirling needs to sort out disabled peoples payments so we can have our cars back and not be kept in our homes year after year.
    Lers have some fairness

    STOP IT!
Loo keys sbould be with blue badge. Only for djsabled people so we dont grt human waste on our clothes

It wouldn't occur to me to claim DLA because I suffer with stress or depression.
I thought it was for the most severely affected people.
I realise its not just a physical disability though, just because you are not being seen by a specialist doesn't mean you are able, it might mean that the hospital cannot do anything for you at this time and your condition is settled?

I did think of an odd question in the assessment. Was I in employment. Someone will have to explain how I could claim to be someone who cannot function, but I can also hold down a job. Not getting at anyone, it's just showing my lack of understanding in how this could be possible when I know people who are losing benefit. Myself inclusive.

PIP is a non means tested benefit, paid to help people that have additional needs with daily living and or mobility. PIP does not throw people on the scrap heap but can help them adjust to a working life if possible

The fraud rate under DLA was tiny. It was claimed it was outdated and people wouldn't inform DWP when they suddenly got cured of their life long non cureable illnesses.
