Many of us find refuge and relaxation in creativity. My hope is that this will be a space where members can share photographs of things that are important to them - of paintings, models, knitting, embroidery, crochet, lego models, calligraphy, photographs or whatever you can put a name to. It is here for us to share and to support each other and, because it is within Scope, only supportive and helpful comments will be welcome. Let's see what happens.

My favourite subject, photography.
It enables expression, because everyone is focused on the photo, not who took it.
Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going. -
This drawing of a dead cockerel, brought in by a tutor who was also a farmer, is probably older than a good many of our members. A blast from the past. I don't do much drawing these days, but thought I'd be the first to stick my head over the parapet. And even then, I'm second! @whistles proved too quick on the draw! Great stuff. -
Hi @whistles and welcome to the gallery. Well done!

Hi @CrochetLeoj and thank you for posting! For some reason I absolutely love the crochet photograph, but I really do like them all. Congratulations Leo.

Hi @doodle, and thank you for your post. Dogs are special, aren't they? A lovely picture of one of humankind's best friends and supporters. So, boy or girl? And what, if I am allowed to ask, is his/her name?

Hi,
This is Colombo who is a cross between a Basset and Shar-Pei. He is fantastic and very funny. He looks after my children (adults now) when they are feeling low and in pain. Xxxx -
@JennysDad thanks I appreciate that you like my work here some more of my crochet I’m starting to design my own jumper at moment the past jumper in the photo the arms are wonky but this time I’m trying out a new technique and so glad I’ve predictive texts and voice thing so can communicate better

Hi @doodle. Not named Colombo after Columbo, the TV Detective? I seem to remember he had a similar dog of his own. Beautiful, anyway. And I rather envy you. We have two cats and whilst we love them, cat love is a very one-way thing. Haven't the room/the money to keep a dog as yet.

Hi @CrochetLeoj and yes, I like these, especially the blue-and-white banded piece. What are your 'predictive text and voice thing' connected to?

I make rag dolls. I make other things too but atm dolls are my favourite. I give them as gifts or donate them to raise funds for animals.

Hi @Westonturner, and she is a beauty. I can't help envying folks with dogs. I seem to have spent most of my life living in small spaces and have been limited to cats and the occasional bird. And it is nice to see you too
Thank you for posting

Hi @sandyp196 and thank you for posting. I love everything about your doll! What a beauty! And what beautiful work!
I'm wondering how this lovely picture came to be uploaded as it did, rather than filling the screen? Did you perhaps use the upload file tab, rather than the upload image? Not that clicking on the file is any hardship
Really, really lovely. I hope we'll get to see more as time goes on.
Warmest best wishes,
Richard
