my husband left me to fend for myself and took all the furniture so ive been sleeping on floor boards for weeks but i managed to get a carpet and sofa for the living room, and a bed eventually took me weeks to do it, and ive just got a fridge.
i didnt have a cooker i have been cooking on a camping stove but i can cope with that for a few weeks
im on ESA but it isnt guaranteed because i have to get medical notes
i used to be on income support with my husband but since he left i had to fill in the esa form and get 2monthly medical notes its so frustrating i dont know when im going to get paid next nearly all the time x

Hi @Bennroxy, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through.
If you're still looking for some furniture you might find something suitable on https://www.freecycle.org/
I hope this helps. Please do let us know if there's anything we can support you with. -
You can also look through grants that may be available to you here. And have a look on facebook, there are a lot of pages for people giving away free things.Scope

Hi @Bennroxy
Here is a link to the furniture recycle/re-use directory. Maybe there is somewhere locally where you can find good quality pre-used furniture and white-goods at reasonable prices:
