hi everyone!
So to cut a long story short I’ve been close friends/girlfriend/part time carer to an amazing person who has severe athetoid cerebral palsy.
In the last few weeks I’ve noticed a huge change in this persons behaviour. It’s very sad to see because once we were both so happy and disability didn’t seem to get int he way of that happiness - it still doesn’t for me. However i think that having such severe cerebral palsy is getting my friend down and I’m wondering if there are any tips anyone has as to how i could help him get back on track and feel better about himself?
thanks everyone

Hi @catrintro
I don't want to assume what is happening for your partner but it sounds as perhaps he is experiencing low mood or depression. The Mind website offers advice to people wanting to support those who are struggling with their emotional well-being:
