Employment rights for Mental Health sufferer. 57 yr old been put on gardening leave since Nov 1st 2018. Grievance Appeal pending result, new opening requested for reasonable adjustment (other identical post given to another sufferer) but employer will not allow him to move there. They want him to remain in the job that has caused Work related Stress Mental Health breakdown on 2 long absences, decimated sick record after putting them in writing twice re why he had the breakdowns. Offered hi financial settlement to go but its not financially viable to take it.

What are his rights?  Union asked for reasonable adjustment and told them making him remain given all they know via the Grievance is unreasonable. 30 yr service with this company and is a multi talented engineer
