    Hi @Kath113

You should find out by letter if you are entitled before you see money in your account, so you may have to wait till the letter comes, or you could cll them and ask?

Let us know how you get on

A claim for Carers Allowance takes about 8-12 before payments are started. You will of course be backdated any money owed. Backdated money will be the carers Premium only.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
