hello I’m new to this site .. but was reading a post asking about the did card . I have one and used it at Disney land Paris it was a god send as I don’t like long ques also I was told by reception at Blackpool pleasure beach I could of used it there any way you can use it at most theane parks and you get to go in the disabled que

Hi @terri1991, welcome to the community!

I have an alternative access card myself that I recently used at Disneyland Paris and it was such a help for me, too! Have you had a look through the FAQs on the DID card website? I found the following information:

The benefits may vary from place to place, the DID Card may allow you to:

• obtain ONE free ticket for carer who is accompanying you and providing you with the appropriate assistance
• get discounts, special offers or concessionary rates for disabled 
• providing the cardholder with disabled identification
• no longer having to carry the paper entitlement documents to prove disability exists
• personal and sensitive information included on your paper entitlement documentation will no longer need to be shown to organisations such as NI number, medical condition, date of birth, address etc. as the DID card is all that is necessary. 

Many entertainment centres, theatres and attractions accept the card, where they would otherwise require paper documentation to prove that the person is disabled and in receipt of DLA or other qualifying benefits.

Hi I have just got a DID card for my son does anyone know if we can get into theme parks with it and use the que jump facility? Xx

I use my yellow disabled card which is free from the council.
There's also no need to renew it each year. 
Just show it at attractions or when visiting museums or most other places.

With my free yellow card I can also get a carer in to places for free with me.

What is a yellow card? Does anyone know if that’s available in Dorset? Xx

I know Hampshire and Surrey issue the yellow card, I've had one from both counties.
It should say on your local councils website, I know other people who have them from varies places in the country.

Hope you get one because there's no fee and they're handy to keep in your wallet.
