I joined here after reading the article on bereavement , my colleague Jackie Lincoln and myself are Parish Nurses working from North Shields Methodist Church and support our 7 Methodist Churches in the North Shields & Whitley Bay circuit, as well as supporting the Churches, members and attenders we do outreach work for people in the areas surrounding the Churches.
We visit people, support them, accompany people to Dr. & hospital appointments, assist with form filling .We signpost people on to other agencies, charities and services. We have recently attended a bereavement course and plan to set up a bereavement service to support  people , if required ,   with a post bereavement  service. One of my skills is  stress management therapy, and hand and arm massage for people with dementia and others to assist relaxation. The list of our services is endeless . Peace & Blessings.
