Hello Mandie @stevec and a warm welcome to the community. I am very glad you have found us, and very sorry to hear about your and Steve's difficulties.
However, we are no strangers to such things here.
Whilst I'm not a benefits advisor and can't answer you directly, we do have well qualified and experienced people who will be in touch with you as soon as they can be. I'm going to refer your message to them and we will see what happens.
For now, please 'keep your chin up', know that you are safe among friends here, and that we will do everything we possibly can to help you.
Warmest best wishes
Richard
@JennysDad -
Welcome to the community @stevec
Id recommend the CAB help with filling your pip form webpage, it breaks it down question by question.
Good luck and let us know if you have any questions as so many of our members have been through this process.
