I help look after my Mum at home following illness that left her disabled.
i just bought a Autochair Olympian hoist for the car and was hoping to find someone that has the same one fitted to a Mk2 Honda CRV (2005).
Nobody will sell me a fitting kit, Autochair won't help, local company wants £350 for two hours work fitting it!
So I'm looking for hopefully, pictures of the fitting area in this sort of car if anybody can help?
Thanks!
paul.

Hello @luggsey Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for sharing your story.
I do not know what the answer is. I am sure one of our community will know.
Might be worth having a look. at our threads posts disabled aids and equipment.
Hope that helps.

Hi, I'll try that thank you.

Have you been to the disability resource centre near to you .They fit the hoists to mobility cars. The problem is that you have to have a fitting kit to take the hoist which is suitable for your car which is expensive. As you probably have found out nothing that says for a disabled person is cheap. I hope you get it sorted soon.
