My husband was diagnosis with cerabal .palsy at the age of two. He lived a normal life except with a few minor .set backs. At the age of 60 he has taken over the counter .pain medication daily . Now at the age of 70 over the counter medication doesn't .work anymore. I finally .talked him into going to the doctor, which was a struggle. They have him in physical .Therapy, a prescription gel cream. He is still in pain. Last week I spoke. To his doctor .and she gave him steroids for a week. He is still in pain. I think he sshould see a specialist . what do you think

Hello @comet Pleased to meet you Welcome.
Thank you for sharing. I know it is difficult sometimes for us gentlemen to go to the Doctors and ask for help and support. You did the right thing and I hope he understands that you needed to do that.
Your husband does need some support and advice with his disability.
The problem is that he needs to recognise that he needs such. Understand the difficulty him going.
Have a look at Specific conditions for information from our community. Who may be able and advise.
Also a member of our team might be in contact to advise further. I am going to tag in our community advisor @Richard_Scope . On CP.
He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to advise you further.
Hope that helps.

Hi @comet
Thanks for your post and good to meet you! Thanks to @thespiceman for tagging me into this conversation.
I sorry to read that your husband is experiencing so much pain at the moment. Has your G.P. managed to identify what is the cause of the pain?
